Coffee People Zine“Present”

I submitted a painting and a personal memoir for the Coffee People Zine themed “Present”. Coffee People Zine publishes art, poetry, stories, about coffee or by people working in the coffee industry. For the theme, I submitted a painting of my mom as a Catholic Saint after her stomach removal surgery. The personal memoir compares my struggle with my body image and my mom’s own struggle after her surgery.
